We are so thankful!!

When we started the adoption process, we knew it was a little crazy.  We had just had our second child only 2 months prior, I (Chris) had just taken a new job with a significant pay cut, and our savings account was nonexistent. By any normal standards, this was probably the worst time to start a process that takes years and costs over $30,000.  Except for the fact that we were fully confident God was calling us to do it.  So we dove in.  And thanks to generous donors like those who give to Rollstone Foundation, the most daunting part of this process (raising lots of money) became by far the easiest part!  We were able to raise 100% of the funds we needed in less than 6 months, thanks to the generosity of friends, a few t-shirts we sold, and most importantly, the grant money we received from Rollstone and other organizations.  It is not a stretch to say that we legitimately could not be adopting our daughter right now if it were not for these grants.  We didn’t have a “plan B” for how to be obedient to the call on our lives.  But as is usually the case, the same God who called us also provided for us, and now we have the money we need and we are just waiting on the “phone call” to go and bring our daughter home.  Thank you all for making that a reality.
